We have the pleasure to announce that starting with the 5th of April, we will present in our new showroom from Mitropolit Filaret Street, No. 34, our collection spring/summer 2012, "I AM", a collection showcased in avant—premiere at the Berlin Fashion Week 2012.

It is a very important moment for us, even more, since 2012 is the year we celebrate ten years on the design market in Romania, of which the last seven years we have spent creating conceptual jewelry.

The "I AM" collection is a simple and clear statement: "I am essence. I am part of the whole. I am happy. I am free and most of all I am present".

Why "I AM"? Because this is one of the questions that have preoccupied the designer, Carla Szabo since childhood, when she first heard the slogan: "Know thyself!". Therefore, the collection is a plea to self-awareness. A simple recipe and need to accept each of us as we are, especially in the context of a hectic lifestyle and often decentralized in a citadel. A trend to the joy of living the moment in a state of freedom and tranquility.

Parts that compose the collection are made ​​of horse hair, hand knitting silk, wooden spheres with bright accents of metal parts plated with gold or silver.

The construction concept behind every accessory made, started from the statement "I AM", where each letter from this title has become graphically, a geometric shape. Thus "I" was transformed into a rectangle, the letter "A" in a triangle and the letter "M", a square.

For the base material is horse hair, you can find here also svelte silhouettes of horses leaping over imaginary obstacles, the braiding creating a play of two pieces that overlap.

The designer tells how everything started: "I visited Ilinca's Horse Shelter 3 years ago and I was excited to meet Rodica and the other four-legged inhabitants of the place. The shy blonde lives quietly now in the care of wonderful people who heal and place sick and abused horses around Bucharest. For a long time I have been dreaming about working with horse hair, so I asked my new friend Rodica to give me from her beautiful and bushy tail a few wires.

I have braided in my workshop 7 white wires and 1 black. The result was amazing, a translucent spiral network with an emphasis flow."

The collection gathers massive and spectacular necklaces, which can be worn with a smart-casual or an evening outfit, but also bracelets and rings of a special finesse. Also, fragile-looking, translucent, are nearly invisible pieces that can be placed on the body, to achieve an intimate and unique butterfly touch.
